I’ve been training most of my life—playing sports at school and regularly going to gym classes—but I always felt like I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted. With my wedding coming up next year, I knew I wanted to feel fit, strong, healthy, and, of course, look amazing in my wedding dress.
Since joining the EMPWR Method five months ago, my biggest achievement has been transforming my lifestyle—without making drastic changes. I’ve built an amazing routine, developed a healthy relationship with nutrition, and found a way to make it all sustainable and manageable. I was very lucky to meet Harriet as I was starting to dip my toe into competing (something I’d wanted to do for ages). Entering into a competition with no plan off the back of injury and with little previous exposure, I asked Harriet to help me to get to a much more comfortable competing position.
More than that, Harriet has helped me to get close/ to my highest level strength in many movements (whilst being c20-30kg lighter), taught me many new lifts, movements, pushed me enjoyably outside of my comfort zone, further extending overall confidence in the gym, all whilst navigating injury return, ridiculous lack of healthy work-life balance and the dreaded Christmas period.
I have a lot of progress I want to make this year and I’ve never felt more confident in achieving it, than I do with Harriet as my coach. I’ve never had such a bespoke approach. It exceeds what I needed and I’m incredibly excited for what’s to come.

I have been working with Harriet for a few months now and she has very quickly assessed my disabilities and more importantly my abilities.
I suffer with a spinal injury that restricts my movement in my lower body.
Harriet has been quick to work on my core and gluteus to counteract the imbalances I have and to improve my posture, flexibility and overall movement.
She is very knowledgeable of my needs with training and has created a bespoke programme for me to follow when I am working out on my own.
She is a hard task master and doesn’t let me get away with anything for which I am very grateful and I am already seeing big improvements with my balance and strength.
Although she works me hard it does always feel like fun.
